I’m very excited about developing Walkabout Golf Course, especially as Walkabout is so close to my hometown of Titusville, The challenge of golf course design has always been to create a course that not only tests the Top Players but remains playable for all other levels of golfers.

The twenty-seven-hole layout of Walkabout has met this challenge.

The natural terrain of the property reminds me so much of my native Australia, that I felt I must give Walkabout an "Aussie" theme throughout.

From the outstanding golf course, the natural walkabout trails meandering through the community, the fishing piers and stocked bass lakes. The Walkabout truly combines sports, nature and recreation into a way of life.

Millennium Development Corporation is creating an extraordinary gated, recreational community "WALKABOUT", on approximately 1100 acres designed to provide the ultimate outdoor experience for nature lovers; golfers; RV owners; boaters and freshwater fishermen.

Walkabout includes a 27-hole championship golf course designed by world renowned golfing professional Jan Stephenson.  The WALKABOUT site is unique with substantial elevated changes, hardwood nature preserves totaling in excess of 300 acres and more than 30 lakes, and approximately 1,000 residential units.  The residential plan will provide for 19 residential tracts connected by over 8 miles of on site trails with access to the proposed Brevard County "Rails to Trails", system.  Throughout the residential communities localized recreational areas include swimming pools; tennis courts; Bocce; Croquet; and Lawn Bowling.  The precise recreational facilities will be tailored to suite the plans of the residential builders.
